The UT Golf Club
The University of Texas Golf Club
Campers practice and play at The University of Texas Golf Club -- the home facility for the men's and women's teams at Texas! Opened in 1993, the UT Golf Club was designed by Bechtol Russell Golf, Inc., with input from several former University of Texas golfers. Sprawling over 205 acres, the course is nestled in the Texas Hill Country, overlooking Lake Austin and parallel to a natural wildlife preserve.
The UT Golf Club is a 7,412-yard, par 71 championship caliber course which hosts the annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, one of the longest running women's collegiate events. At the UT Golf Club, the men's and women's golf programs have a private driving range and practice facilities. The Texas short game facility has four greens and two bunkers so players can practice any shot imaginable within 130 yards. In addition, the indoor facilities at the UT Academy Building offer the v1 swing system so instructors can video and analyze the swing of the campers. All campers leave with a individual and personalized video of their swing with voice over analysis and instruction from the camp coaches.
