When is camp?
Camp will be held June 4 - 8, 2016. Both overnight and day camps are held simultaneously.
Overnight Camp - $1,200
Day Camper - $1,000
Tuition covers all instruction, room, board, green fees, and practice ball expenses.
Who Can Attend
Girls, ages 9-18
This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender. NCAA guidelines prohibit payment of camp expenses (e.g., transportation, camp fees, spending money, etc.) by a representative of The University of Texas' athletics interest. NCAA rules also prohibit free or reduced camp admission for prospects (9th grade and above).
A $250 non-refundable deposit (which is applied to camp fee) must accompany each application. Upon receipt of the application and deposit, a confirmation packet and all necessary forms and information are sent directly via email. (Deposits are non-refundable and may not be put towards future camp dates.)
Full payment is due one month prior to the camp start date (5/4/16), unless the camp is not yet sold out. Once the camp sells out, anyone with a balance will be given opportunity to pay or risk losing their spot to a wait-listed individual.
EVERY camper needs to complete the medical forms. Medical forms must be submitted prior to your arrival to camp!

Instruction focuses on improving the student's swing, short game, bunker play, chipping, putting, and course management, as well as the mental and physical aspects of the game. Campers are grouped by age and skill level with a camper-to-coach ratio of 5:1. All instruction takes place at The University of Texas Golf Club.
Campers are supervised at all times. Instructors as well as counselors and an athletic trainer stay in the dormitory with campers. In addition, the Castilian provides 24hr security.
What to Bring
Proper golf attire (no denim on the golf course), golf clubs, golf balls, golf hat, sun block, swim suit, toiletries, sheets and pillows (or sleeping bag), towels, and some spending money ($20-$25). NO linen packets are available for rent. Bed sizes will be extra long twin or extra long full.
Camp Check-In for the Juniors Girls' Golf Camp will be at The Callaway House Austin (Map here) between 1:00-3:00pm on June 4. Staff will collect golf clubs curb side at check-in and transport them to the University of Texas Golf Club for the girls. Parents are encouraged to help their daughters get their rooms setup and organized prior to our first camp meeting at 3:00pm. Departure for the golf course will be at approximately 3:30pm.
Camp Check-Out for the Junior Girls Golf Camp will be at the UT Golf Club (Map here) following the Competition and Camp Awards Presentation on June 8 at approximately 1:00pm. Parents will need to make sure to collect all their daughter's belongings at this time.
Aside from the golf, special activities are planned which include swimming at Barton Springs, glow in the dark bowling, video games, and "the best camp talent show EVER".
Competition Day (June 8)
On the final day of camp, campers are divided into different divisions based on age and ability and show their skills while participating in a team setting. Parents are welcome to come and watch their daughters compete. Play begins at approximately 8:30 a.m. and camp concludes after the awards ceremony immediately following play.
Housing & Food
Resident campers reside in The Callaway House - Austin -- The University of Texas' newest housing facility.
Campers will stay two or four to a room and roommates can be requested when registering online. Otherwise, roommates will be selected based on age. Please make sure that your camper and her preferred roommate have written each other down on their respective registration forms. We will do our best to accommodate everyone's request. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided for all resident campers. Day campers receive lunch and dinner.
Parking is free for parents to drop-off campers. Keep in mind that the regular entrance to the parking garage is a clearance of 6-2. There will be a golf bag drop-off. The golf bags are loaded and transported to the golf course. It won't be necessary to keep golf clubs in the rooms.
Transportation is provided for overnight campers from the Callaway House to the University of Texas Golf Club facility each day. Camp uses chartered buses to get them to/from the facility.
Day Campers will need to provide their own transportation to/from activities.
Every summer we welcome young ladies from all across the country and around the world. If your daughter is arriving at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport for camp, transportation is available. Simply select "airport transportation" during registration, and e-mail us with your info. A staff member will be on hand to meet your daughter upon arrival at the baggage claim area (or, if possible, the gate area). There is a one-way fee of $20 and a round trip fee of $30. Please make sure to choose this option on your online registration account and e-mail WGolfCamp@utexas.edu with detailed flight itinerary.
An athletic trainer is on duty to administer to all minor injuries and sickness, as well as monitor levels of hydration. For serious problems, the UT Health Center is available.
Merchandise is only available online. No inventory is sold at the golf course. Please place order with registration and deposit.
